All the Italian Club selection preserves are born from the desire to offer our customers products that are, in terms of taste and quality, as close as possible to those who lovingly and patiently prepared our grandmothers for an exclusively family use. The Leuca antipasto in extra virgin olive oil is a brilliant example of the excellent quality that distinguishes all the products we have selected. The vegetables that make up this dried appetizer are grown in an open field in a Salento farm (Lecce, Puglia) that has always grown its products in a totally natural way from April to May, and manually harvested from June to September. Immediately after harvesting, the vegetables are washed, selected, cut into layers and left to dry on the frames for 3-4 days. Then they are blanched and placed in glass jars with the only addition of natural aromas and covered with an excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil, cold pressed and 100% Italian.
Ingredients: Dried tomatoes, dried aubergines, extra virgin olive oil, black Celline olives, capers, garlic, salt, oregano, dried chili, traces of citric acid.
This product is free of GMOs, Colorants, Artificial preservatives, synthetic antioxidants.
The Doctor says: In this appetizer are present: tomatoes, aubergines, olives and extra virgin.olive. oil, all foods rich in antioxidant substances, very important to protect our cells from free radicals and to prevent the onset of tumors. They are also rich in vitamins and mineral salts, essential for the proper functioning of our body.
Suggestions for use: it is an excellent appetizer of mixed vegetables but can also be used very well as a side dish and as a condiment for pasta and rice salads. The extra virgin olive oil contained in the jar can, in turn, be used as a condiment being of excellent quality.
