All the Italian Club selection preserves are born from the desire to offer our customers products that are, in terms of taste and quality, as close as possible to those who lovingly and patiently prepared our grandmothers for exclusively family use. Aubergines/Eggplant fillets in extra virgin olive oil are a brilliant example of the excellent quality that distinguishes all the products we have selected. Their preparation begins in the summer when the ripe aubergines are harvested by hand in the fields of a Salentine company (Lecce, Puglia) that has always cultivated its products in a totally natural way. Immediately after harvesting, peel and slice manually and boil in vinegar. Once cooked, they are dried and placed in glass jars with the addition of natural flavorings, which are then covered with an excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil, cold pressed and 100% Italian.
Ingredients: Raw Aubergines/Eggplant (65%), extra virgin olive oil (34%), mint, garlic, traces of vinegar.
This product is free of GMOs, Colorants, Artificial preservatives, synthetic antioxidants.
The Doctor says: Aubergines/Eggplant are very rich in minerals, in particular, potassium, phosphorus, and magnesium; they are therefore a useful aid during the summer and also contain a good proportion of vitamins and antioxidants. They help keep blood cholesterol levels in check.
Suggestions of use: They are ideal as an aperitif or appetizer, but also as a side dish and as a condiment for pasta and rice salads. The extra virgin olive oil contained in the jar can, in turn, be used as a condiment being of excellent quality.
