Cherries Pepper with Tuna 270 gr - Terra Noscia
Terra Noscia is a small family-run company based in Salento that deals with the production of typical Apulian preserves.
Each product of the Terra Noscia company is born from a deep respect for traditions, from raw materials of the highest quality and completely handcrafted processing.
All the raw materials used are “Km0” and are processed fresh. Pepper cherries with tuna in extra virgin olive oil are a brilliant example of the excellent quality that distinguishes all the products we have selected. The cherry peppers have a rounded shape and are grown in May to be harvested manually at the end of August when the fruits have reached the typical deep red color. They are processed by the Terra Noscia company as soon as they are harvested. They are pitted and deprived of all the seeds inside, then left in water and vinegar for ripening. Then they go to the laboratory, where they have washed again in water and vinegar and expertly filled, manually and one by one, with Mediterranean tuna and local capers and homemade bread, then put in extra virgin olive oil. When the preparation is complete, they are placed in glass jars and covered with an excellent cold-pressed 100% Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The Doctor says:
Many do not know that peppers, especially reds, contain a percentage of vitamin C four times higher than in citrus fruits with the consequent ability to increase resistance to infections; it also strengthens the muscles and promotes the absorption of iron. With vitamin C together with the content of vitamin A, of which 0.7 mg per 100g is very rich, we get the benefit of prevention from free radicals thanks to the antioxidant properties of these two vitamins.
Pepper cherries in extra virgin olive oil are ideal as an aperitif or appetizer, but also as a side dish and as a dressing for pasta and rice salads. The extra virgin olive oil contained in the jar can in turn be used as a condiment being of excellent quality.
