The hazelnuts used to make this cream are of one of the finest Italian varieties ever: the Tonda di Giffoni. The production area of this hazelnut from Giffoni is concentrated in the Salerno area, especially in the Irno valley and in the Picentini mountains area and the first historical evidence of the cultivation of this typically Salerno hazelnut dates back to the Middle Ages, but it is only through commercial relationships. with the rest of Italy and abroad, in the Bourbon period, the distinctive value of the quality of this product became known. This hazelnut is characterized by a perfectly rounded shape of the seed (which is the shelled hazelnut), which has a white, consistent pulp and an extremely aromatic flavor. For the production of our hazelnut creams, we have required the highest quality standards on the market. Our creams are made up of 50% round Giffoni hazelnuts, high-quality cocoa, and sugar, without any addition of palm oil or other vegetable oils. The exceptional creaminess of our cream is provided exclusively by the very high quality of the hazelnuts used which also gives it a unique and delicious taste. The cream is also completely gluten-free, therefore also ideal for people with celiac disease or intolerance.
