All the Italian Club selection preserves are born from the desire to offer our customers products that are, in terms of taste and quality, as close as possible to those who lovingly and patiently prepared our grandmothers for an exclusively family use. Figs and Almond Jam is a brilliant example of the excellent quality that distinguishes all the products we have selected. The fig is a typical fruit of the southern Italian landscape, known for its great sweetness. In this original jam, we wanted to combine all the goodness of fresh figs with that of Apulian almonds. This jam is prepared in the middle of summer when the figs reach their full maturity. Immediately after the manual harvest in the orchard of a Salentine (Lecce, Puglia) company that has always cultivated its products in a totally natural way, figs, are cut into pieces and cooked with the addition of water, sugar and chopped almonds finely. Subsequently, the still boiling jam is distributed in glass jars that are hermetically sealed. The peculiarity of our jams and marmalades is that they have a high quantity of fruit and are totally natural, in fact, they do not contain any chemical preservatives.

Suggestions for use: The jam can be simply spread on a slice of bread for breakfast or as a snack, but it is also excellent for the preparation of desserts of various kinds.
