The Artisan Honeys by The Italian Club are part of our exclusive selection. All the products we have chosen are an emblem of quality and genuineness. Our honey is produced by a small family-run company located in the province of Salerno that deals with the production of honey and derivatives of the highest quality. The bees are looked after with great attention and are transported to uncontaminated fields and orchards in the Irno valley and in the Picentini mountains. All the honey we have selected are produced in a completely natural way, without the addition of additives or preservatives and without undergoing the pasteurization process which inevitably alters their organoleptic and nutritional qualities. The lack of pasteurization means that the honey with winter temperatures tends to crystallization, a completely natural phenomenon, and synonymous with high-quality honey, if you need to bring it back to a softer state, just heat it slightly in a bain-marie.
With a strong aromatic taste and a slightly bitter taste, chestnut honey is Rich in pollen content, mineral salts, and tannin, with a high proportion of fructose that resists crystallization and relatively low acidity.
