Organic chickpeas 300 gr – Inserbo
The company Inserbo, specialized in the cultivation and processing of vegetables and legumes, has always preferred cultivation techniques as traditional and natural as possible so as to be able to produce raw materials of exceptional quality that give artisan preserves an unmistakable aroma and flavor of "keep homemade".
The chickpeas used for this product come exclusively from organic cultivation of the uncontaminated heads of Umbria, they are firm and cream-yellow in color, with the skin attached to the seed, expressing a characteristic and clean smell and taste, with the typical hints sweets and vegetables.
The chickpeas were called "the meat of the poor" for their high content of proteins and carbohydrates, they are also very rich in fiber and thanks to their content of omega 3 fatty acids they are valid allies of the cardiovascular system. These legumes contain folate, many mineral salts, including especially magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and potassium and a good portion of vitamins C and B vitamins. Chickpeas do not contain gluten and are therefore also suitable for those suffering from celiac disease.

Ingredients: chickpeas (73%), water and salt.
Methods of preserving: Keep the product at room temperature, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Once opened, remove the contents from the box and keep in the fridge. We recommend using the product maximum of 3 days after opening it.

We want to offer you a quick and tasty first course for 5 people: in a pan, heat some extra virgin olive oil with garlic, chili pepper, and rosemary and pour the boiled chickpeas. Cook for a few minutes and then pour 4 glasses of hot water. Add 500 gr of mixed pasta to the boiling chickpea broth, salt, and pepper. Wait until the pasta cooks up and create a creamy consistency and, if necessary, add water.
For a greedy touch in the saute add 200 gr of bacon or guanciale!
