Corbara Pomodorino or "Corbarino" is a small and concentrated brother of San Marzano tomato, is a product of ancient origins, in a small pear-shaped tomato, particularly suited to preserves. Tomato of great excellence and undoubtedly niche is produced exclusively on volcanic soils on the slopes of the Lattari Mountains, in Campania. From the intense red color, the Corbara tomato is particularly rich in vitamins C and A and above all of the antioxidant and anti-cancer components such as carotenoids and phenolic compounds. The soil is extremely rich in minerals and the very particular atmospheric conditions of the production area of this small tomato give the same organoleptic qualities almost unique. This product is free of GMOs, Dyes, Artificial Preservatives, Synthetic Sweeteners (Sweeteners).
Suggestions for use: Corbara tomato has a very sweet taste but also sapid and with a slightly acrid aftertaste, these characteristics make it excellent if cooked with fish, because it is able to absorb the salty sea salty and jealously preserving it.
