For its preparation it starts from very sweet cherry tomatoes, picked by hand in summer, to full maturity, in the fields of a Salentine company (Lecce, Puglia) that has always cultivated its products in a totally natural way. Immediately after the harvest, the tomatoes are washed, boiled and passed with the addition of onion, cultivated by the same company and the most beautiful and fresh basil, leaves selected one by one by expert and careful hands and, finally, an excellent Extra virgin olive oil cold pressed and 100% Italian. Simplicity and care meet in this sauce that will give back to your homes the ancient scents that intoxicated the country on Sunday morning.

Suggestions for use: This ready-to-eat basil sauce was created to allow you, even on the most demanding days, to enjoy an excellent pasta dish. In its simplest use, it is sufficient to heat it for 4/5 minutes in a pan so as to revive all the aromas and flavors and add salt and spices according to your taste. It can also be the basis for a more complex and rich sauce, such as, for example, adding fresh or seasoned ricotta, or even seasoning for a homemade pizza.
