Taggiasche olives paté 180 gr - Iitalpesto
The olives used for this paté are the famous Taggiasche olives, one of the oldest and most appreciated cultivars among those cultivated in Italy whose trees have always dominated the landscape of the Ligurian hills.
The olives harvested in November are put in brine with various local aromatic herbs. At the time of processing, they are taken out of the brine, pitted, and crushed to make a paté, then local aromatic herbs, salt, and an excellent cold-pressed 100% Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil are added.

The Doctor says:
Olives contain the same acclaimed nutritional properties as extra virgin olive oil, albeit in a lower concentration. They contain a lot of monounsaturated fats (the so-called good fats) which help to lower bad cholesterol. Olives are also rich in antioxidants, substances that protect the cells of the body from damage caused by free radicals and therefore from aging and tumors.
The Taggiasca olive paté finds its natural positioning in particularly refined aperitifs and appetizers, where it surprises for its strong but easily matched taste. It can also be used in various culinary preparations to give a touch of flavor and uniqueness to dishes.
